Named after the famous Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova, this popular dessert is crispy on the outside but soft and fluffy inside.
Pavlova Cafe at Dubai Mall specialises in one item: Pavolva.
Made according to a traditional recipe, the bakery offers 10 different types of Pavlova but whatever your order, you can rest assured that you will receive a soft, airy base with a crispy outer shell topped with sugar-free, fresh whipped cream and juicy berries.
Pavlova sizes:
White or brown meringue forms the base of this gluten-free dessert which is available in three sizes.
The Finger Cake costs AED 9 (15 grams) and the toppings include strawberry sauce, passionfruit sauce and berries.
The Pavlova Standard Cake is priced between AED 60 and 80 (150 to 170 grams) and the toppings include strawberry sauce, mixed berries, kiwi and mint.
The Mini Cake costs around AED 100 (220 to 240 grams) and is available in flavours such as Classic Berries; Passion, Pomegranate, Strawberry; Cherry-Chocolate; Raspberry, Pistachio, Peach; and Passionfruit, Mango and Strawberry. Unlike the Finger and Standard Cake, the Mini Cake has a brown base.
