There’s no shortage of coffee shops in Downtown Dubai but here’s some good news for coffee enthusiasts: The area has a new coffee shop. London born Black Sheep Coffee has opened its first outlet in Dubai at Boulevard Plaza on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard. The company plans to open two more outlets in Downtown itself – one in Dubai Mall and the other in Act Tower.
The brand, which launched in 2013, makes its beverages with robusta coffee beans unlike most coffee shops in the area (or city for that matter) that use Arabica beans.
Black Sheep Coffee’s menu
In addition to standard hot beverages such as espresso, cappuccino and latte, they also serve iced coffees and frappes. The menu also caters to those who don’t drink coffee. They offer a variety of smoothies and shakes, which are made with flash frozen fruits and vegetables.
If you’d like to grab a quick bite, your choices include smoothie bowls, sandwiches and salads. The Norwegian waffles remain a firm favourite in Black Sheep outlets across England, USA, France and Scotland, so don’t forget to order those.
The space
With ample seating indoors and outdoors, Black Sheep Coffee is perfect for groups or individuals who want some me-time. The coffee shop is open from 6:30am to 11:30pm.
