Chuan Xiao Guan has opened its doors to diners. Located in the Chinatown section of Dubai Mall, the Chinese restaurant serves up authentic and spicy Sichuan cuisine as well as the popular Beijing Duck. In comparison to other outlets at at Chinatown, the setting here is formal.

It is known for its bold flavours, which is a result of the generous use of garlic and chilli pepper such as the famous Sichuan pepper. Hot and sour noodle soup, Kung Pao chicken, Sichuan hotpot and tea smoked duck are some of the well-known dishes of this cuisine.

While the menu offers a variety of meat, poultry and seafood dishes, the highlight is the Beijing Duck.
Fun fact: Beijing Duck has been prepared since the Imperial Era. Loved by both Chinese and tourists, this dish is also known as Peking Duck. Traditionally, the thin, crispy skin and meat are carved in front of diners and served in three stages.
At Chuan Xio Guan, the Beijing duck is made to order and is served with pancakes and condiments. Note: the duck usually takes more than 30 minutes to prepare.
