Let’s face it – a day at the world’s largest mall can be overwhelming. While we love how much the 12 million square foot space has to offer (shops, restaurants, cafes, cinemas and more), it also means that Dubai Mall attracts more visitors than any other mall in the city. Now whether you’re a resident or tourist, you must have come across at least a few (if not all) of these people at Dubai Mall.
1. The ones who run on the escalator
Because the desire to get to the next level faster than anybody else is real!
2. The ones who have a toddler throwing a tantrum on the floor
We agree that Dubai Mall has clean and shiny floors, but….
3. The ones who takes photos anywhere and everywhere
We’re all for photos but just not at the landing platform of the escalator, please.
4. The ones who get worked up because (they think) they’re lost

5. The ones who park their car too close to yours
There are clear line markings in the parking area and some people still make it hard for the rest. Sigh!
6. The ones wandering in the parking trying to find their car
Psst…enter your car plate details on the tablet in the mall and the cameras will help locate your vehicle, as well as guide you to your parking spot.
7. The ones who rush into packed elevators
Elevator etiquette 101: Priority should be given to those with prams, individuals on wheelchairs, pregnant women and senior citizens.
8. The ones who try to sell you perfumes
Looks like spraying super strong scents and handing out fragrance tester strips is the way to reach your daily targets.
9. The ones who stand in your way and are doing nothing
Maybe they are amazed by everything around them. We don’t blame them! It’s Dubai Mall afterall.
10. The ones who are trying to get the perfect selfie at the Diver Waterfall
Fun fact: the iconic waterfall represents pearl diving, which was a source of income for Emirati families before the oil boom.
11. The ones who walk side-by-side and block the path
Hey you! Why don’t you catch up with your crew at one of the restaurants? There are more than 200 to choose from.
12. And lastly, the ones who take (not one, not two, but so many) photos outside Dubai Aquarium
