Holi, also known as the Festival of Colours, falls on 25th March this year and to celebrate the ancient Hindu festival, Indian restaurant Armani/Amal will not be bringing out coloured water or powder for guests to throw at each other (like Holi is traditionally celebrated), but will be serving a colourful three-course menu instead.
Vegetarians and non-vegetarians will be well fed, as the chefs at Amal have a thali-style meal for both.
Vegatarians can tuck into dishes such as bharwan artichoke, sago and edamame tikki, paneer pista korma and Jodhpuri kadi; while non-vegetarians will be served boti kebab, kandhari murgh, lamb rogan and Goan fish curry among other dishes.
To round up the meal, there’s jaggery pistachio malpua and homemade rabdi ice cream.
Both menus are priced at AED 399 per person.
Located at Armani Hotel Dubai. Available on 25th March from 6:30pm to 11:30pm. For more information, call 04 888 3666 or visit their website.
