The city’s favourite food festival returns for another season. Taking place across Dubai between 19th April and 12th May, Dubai Food Festival 2024 celebrates all things gastronomy.

There are food tours, cooking classes, limited edition menus and lots of other exciting events. But for now, here’s what you need to know.

At Dubai Restaurant Week, you can visit some of the city’s most popular restaurants and enjoy a two-course lunch menu for AED 125 or a three-course dinner menu for AED 250 per person.

Jun's Dubai Restaurant Week

Jun’s Dubai

This inviting spot on the boulevard, which is on the Michelin Guide and is recognised by MENA’s 50 Best, will be serving an eclectic menu that includes dishes such as szechuan baba ghanoush, char siu wagyu short rib and miso seabass claypot rice. To finish the meal, there’s a peppercorn Basque style cheesecake.

Sumosan Dubai Restaurant Week

The fine dining Japanese restaurant’s special dinner menu features starters such as seabass carpaccio, crispy sushi rice salmon pizza and chicken karaage. For mains, there are street specials like home-baked milk bread chicken fillet sando alongside dishes like wasabi prawns with passion fruit salsa and grilled cauliflower with sesame creme sauce. Diners can even choose a sushi platter for their main course. Dessert options include a pavlova or sticky date pudding.

Along with panoramic views of Downtown Dubai, you get contemporary Asian dishes such as chicken kushiyaki, roasted butternut squash with a miso glaze, roasted salmon with a seafood ragout, as well as chocolate salted caramel tart for dessert. This Michelin Guide restaurant is perched on the 54th floor of Address Sky View.

Contemporary Japanese cuisine and views of Dubai Fountain make this vibrant venue a popular choice in Dubai Mall. The festival dinner menu offers dishes such as guacamole tacos, truffle wagyu tartare, baked Chilean seabass and truffle udon. The finale options are just as delightful. There’s creme brulee, caramelised Basque cheesecake or a Valrhona dessert to choose from.
