Dubai Food Festival is back. The event, which celebrates everything from fine dining to local eats, is here not just for one day or two but until the 12th of May.
While a lot happens across the city, here are some of the Downtown Dubai restaurants that are a part of Restaurant Week at Dubai Food Festival 2024.
This year’s edition of the festival will include a new concept called Chef’s Menu, where head chefs of some of the city’s top fine dining restaurants will select their best-selling dishes to create a special five-course menu.
In Downtown Dubai, you can sample the Chef’s Menu at contemporary Japanese restaurant Sumosan. Chef Pavel Li’s menu features dishes like seared wagyu tataki, toro tartare and smoked yellowtail carpaccio alongside sushi, sashimi and maki. For mains, guests can choose between Japanese kobe beef cooked on a hot stone or 24-hour miso marinated black cod. In addition to sides dishes, the menu also includes a selection of desserts.
