Our favourite mall and one of the most visited destinations in Downtown Dubai, Dubai Mall is getting bigger (and better, obvs).
Developer of Dubai Mall, Emaar has announced an AED 1.5 billion expansion of Dubai Mall. The project will see the addition of 240 new luxury stores and food and beverage outlets. Currently the mall has more than 1,200 stores including 200 dining outlets.
In 2023, Dubai Mall became the most visited place on Earth, welcoming 105 million visitors. Founder of Emaar, Mohamed Alabbar stated, “This expansion reflects Dubai’s ambitious vision to remain at the forefront of global innovation and culture, further solidifying our city’s position as a top global destination”.
Dubai Mall is home to several leisure and entertainment attractions including Reel Cinemas, Dubai Ice Rink, Ekart and Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo.
