The fine dining spot, making its way from Mayfair’s coveted Mount Street to The Address Residences Opera District, is now officially open.
The set up:
Expect striking interiors inspired by the viceroy’s home in New Delhi. The restaurant features a glam dining hall, intimate bar area, and outdoor terrace.
The food:
Think flavours from different parts of India. Designed by Culinary Director Surender Mohan, the menu is inspired by dishes from the royal kitchens of Northern India and coastal cuisine from the South of India.
The menu features small plates, caviar presented in the Jamavar way, tandoor items, biryanis, and hearty curries. In addition to an à la carte menu, Jamavar also offers a tasting menu priced at AED 495 per person, with an optional wine pairing for an additional AED 450.
For those who prefer the convenience and balanced portions of a business lunch, Jamavar offers that too. Available daily between 12pm and 2.30pm, guests can choose between a 2-course (AED 120), 3-course (AED 135), or 4-course menu (AED 150), with dishes such as Malabar Prawns, Old Delhi Butter Chicken, Sindhi Methi Gosht, and Gucchi Lababdar.
To wrap up the meal, desserts include Rhubarb Chuski Falooda, Pistachio Milk Cake, and Trio of Kulfi.
