Now that the summer holidays are over, are you looking for activities or classes in Downtown Dubai to keep your kids engaged? Or do you want to learn something new? You’ve come to the right place because here’s something for both kids and adults.
Dubai Ice Rink is running a Skating Academy from 3rd September to 13th October, with separate sessions for kids aged 6 and above, and for adults (18+). Designed for both beginners and those with some ice skating experience, the six-week programme will help participants master their balance on ice and improve their core techniques. Students will be placed in classes based on their skill levels.
Kids’ Academy
Classes follow a fixed schedule: Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 10.45am and 10.45am to 11.30am, as well as Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm to 5.45pm and 5.45pm to 6.30pm.
Adults’ Academy
Classes follow a fixed schedule: Saturdays and Sundays from 11.45am to 12.30pm and 12.30pm to 1.15pm, as well as Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 10.45am and 10.45am to 11.30am.
Classes will be held in the closed section of the rink, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis at the counter. Participants will receive a certificate on the final day upon successfully completing their level.
Classes are priced at AED 750 for one session per week, AED 1,225 for two sessions per week, and AED 1,838 for three sessions per week. Check Dubai Ice Rink’s website for terms and conditions.
