Dining in Downtown Dubai can leave you spoilt for choice. After all, it’s home to top-notch restaurants, including Michelin-starred venues and others recognised by the guide. To top it off, this month, foodies have the opportunity to experience an exclusive collaboration between two incredible chefs.

Chef Kelvin Cheung of Jun’s (yes, the Downtown Dubai restaurant featured in the Michelin guide for 2023 and 2024, plus MENA’s 50 Best for the past two years) is teaming up with Palestinian-Jordanian Chef Qais Malhas (of Shams El Balad in Amman, also on the MENA’s 50 Best List) to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience on 11th November. Their menu promises to be playful, vibrant, and personal.

Priced at AED 575 per person, with the option to include a Patron cocktail package for AED 175, the menu introduces new, exciting flavours. Snacks include smoked eggplant with kimchi cream cheese, za’atar with labneh and breadcrumbs alongside mezze like lentil kufta, msakhan pani puri, and cauliflower mshat. There’s a selection of meat dishes, including cucumbers stuffed with minced beef and spiced rice, as well as braised short rib with date molasses. To finish, they’ll serve tiramisu with coffee, cardamom, and burnt milk crumble.

From 6pm onwards. Located on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard. For more information, call 04 457 6035 or visit their website.
