Residents who follow His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on Instagram may have guessed that this was yet another adrenaline-packed activity by XDubai, the brand pushing the city’s action sports to new heights.
Sheikh Hamdan’s Instagram stories featured an image of a platform extending from the 139th floor of Burj Khalifa.
This morning, participants were seen descending from the world’s tallest tower using parachutes.

It took 31 athletes and 437 jumps to create this video, which His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on Instagram later shared on Instagram.
The following athletes participated in the daring stunt of BASE jumping from the world’s tallest tower, the Burj Khalifa.
