The Holy Month of Ramadan will commence on Saturday, 1st March. The announcement was made after the crescent moon was sighted in the UAE.

If this is your first Ramadan in the UAE, during the Holy Month, Muslims across the country will fast from sunrise to sunset. The day’s fast will end with families and friends gathering for Iftar. Cannon shots will be heard in Downtown Dubai every day of the Holy Month of Ramadan at sunset, coinciding with the Maghrib call to prayer. This decades-old tradition marks the end of the day’s fast. Those who wish to watch the police force operate their special cannons can make their way to Burj Park every evening. You can also experience Iftar in Downtown Dubai at one of these restaurants.

Located at Burj Park.
