It’s that time of the year – yes, the time when we start making our New Year’s Eve plans. And in Dubai, that means only one thing: viewing the Burj Khalifa fireworks. If that’s your idea of bringing in 2026, here’s everything you need to know about New Year’s Ever 2025 in Downtown Dubai.
Celebrations at Burj Park
Seated at the foot of the world’s tallest tower, you can expect breathtaking (and unobstructed) views of the iconic fireworks, aerial displays, live performances, delicious food and beverage options, workshops for children, and more (read: an incredible ambience). Bollywood fans will be pleased to know that Shahrukh Khan’s entertainment company, Frontstage, will be curating special performances for the evening.
Tickets for Burj Park New Year’s Eve celebrations are priced at: AED 577.5 for children between the ages of 5 and 12 years and AED 997.5 for adults. Children below five can enter for free. Tickets must be purchased in advance and can be collected at the designated spots between 26th and 30th December. Get more information and book your tickets here.
Public viewing areas
Don’t want to buy tickets for Burj Park? You can still watch the fireworks – and for free! There are family-friendly areas around Downtown Dubai for you and your loved ones that can be accessed on a first-come, first-served basis. Plus, there will be LED screens so you don’t miss a moment of the celebrations, which begin from 5pm. Learn everything you need to know about these areas here.
But that’s not all…
This year’s celebrations will extend beyond 31st December, with residents and tourists being able to enjoy a week-long programme of performances, light shows, and installations until 7th January. The best part is that it isn’t confined to a single area, but will instead wind its way through the heart of Downtown Dubai.
