As Downtown Dubai gears up for New Year’s Eve, Emaar has released important updates for those attending the celebrations.
Taxi stands at Dubai Mall will close at 11.30pm, and no taxis will be available to the public from any of the designated spots around the mall.
RTA shuttle buses will operate from Downtown Dubai after the fireworks. Guests can board the shuttle from Lower Financial Road, opposite Zabeel parking.
The Dubai Metro will run continuously from 5am on 31st December until midnight on 2nd January.
The Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall metro station will be close once it reaches capacity, which could be as early as 5pm. Visitors heading to Downtown Dubai can instead use Financial Centre and Business Bay metro stations.
